Have you ever visited a food truck? Have you ever thought about how great it would be to not have to dry off, get dressed, and drive out to get a bite to eat when you’re at the marina or on the lake? You’re in luck! Coming to Cayuga Lake in the spring of 2023 is the Big Boat Café! Open for breakfast and lunch, we are excited to offer some great Finger Lakes Coffee Roasters coffees, bagels, and breakfast sandwiches. Our lunch options include, but are not limited to, BBQ and burgers, salad and some super refreshing smoothies that are sure to quench your thirst on those hot boating days. Our menu satisfies both the meat eaters and non-meat eaters alike by including some plant based options.

Penny Westbrook and Jay O’Leary reside in Lansing, NY. Penny is a lifelong resident of Dryden until 2018 when she moved to Lansing. She recently retired from Cayuga Medical Center and previously owned the Dryden Community Childcare Center as well as managing and instructing at several area health clubs and gyms.

Jay is an owner of Action XL, Blanketfort Games and HPM tech services. He was the Director of IT at Kionix and instructed the Computer Technologies course at TST BOCES. Jay likes to share that he “retired” right out of high school and traveled the country to experience life during his prime.

The Big Boat Café is Penny’s brainchild, her retirement gig, of which Jay has been extremely supportive. This unique opportunity to bring a floating food truck to the area has been very well received. The possibilities are endless and 2023 will be upon us before you know it! Lakeside takeout, bagels, burgers, and much more! Be sure to stop by to say hello!
